A Baby Boomer child, Kathie Fitzpatrick is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area and grew up enjoying all the local color and beauty of the area. From enjoying family trips over to northern California beaches, to exploring now famous landmarks of the area. Some memories range from her dad, Henry, taking her out to lunch at the famous Cathay House in Chinatown as a young child, to her Mom, Ruby taking her and the siblings to the historic “Playland at the Beach” with famous 18 ft character, the hot air propelled “laughing Sal” greeting all who arrived there, to San Francisco Zoo and Golden Gate Park– Kathie had great experiences growing up in the San Francisco region.

Later in her high school years, living in the Contra Costa area, Kathie excelled in Advanced Art, Music, Writing, Public Speaking, and Drama.

Additional Education Information About Kathie

Graduated from Ygnacio Valley High School, 1965 Some college- DVC-Concord, CA Western College-Bryman School-San Francisco, CA Graduated in 1973 – Medical Assisting As a Medical Assistant, Kathie worked as the medical assistant to the cardiologist, Rossmoor Medical Center, at Rossmoor leisure World, Walnut Creek, CA.

Then Kathie worked for Dr. Schank of Doctor’s Park, as a Medical Assistant to him in General Practice-1975-76 Got married to John FitzPatrick in 1976, had two more kids, and was a stay at home Mom in Benicia, CA for 7 years. At the same time Kathie and her husband, John worked part time for a few years in the TV/media department of the First Assemblies of God church in Vallejo, CA. with a live Sunday morning broadcast. The pastor and their group secured the last available broadcast license for the San Francisco Bay Area.

Kathie and John worked in the beautiful new KFCB-Channel 42 network buildings, with about 50 other staff, crew and office personnel. Kathie, John and their team produced thousands of TV shows, studio shows live broadcasts and on location material in the decades the 80’s seen locally, nationwide and worldwide via satellite on the TBN network.

Kathie and John were educated in Televisión Production at Solano Community College, Suisun City, CA. Neither had time to continue to San Francisco State College for the 4-year degree, the usual route. They were too busy actually producing hit TV shows and special segments for the inspirational market, such for CALIFORNIA TONIGHT and ACCENT ON HEALTH, hosted by Maureen Salaman, author and Phd in Nutrition. ACCENT ON HEALTH which was seen in the mid-80’s by a projected estimated viewing audience worldwide via the TBN satellite. After Kathie FitzPatrick’s move to Washington state, later as a Realtor, Kathie did much advanced education in Real Estate, becoming a graduate of the Real Estate institute (GRI) and a CRS-Certified Residential Specialist.
